My timer does go off but with no sound.  I've made sure the sound is way up on the device. (IPAQ)

Is that the way it is?  Because I would like to be able to hear it even if I'm at the stove and not in front the handheld.

Thanks, Michele

Michele

There was a problem with the alarm on an older version of Pocket Cook. Are you on the latest version?

Well, here's the deal:  I had a problem just yesterday with the Activesync which caused me to wonder again if I really did have the latest edition.  So I redownloaded it from the website.  I deleted it from the handheld before doing so.

Then, when I went to reinstall to the handheld, it said that it was already installed.  So it wasn't as "wiped out" as I thought it was.  I had deleted it from 'file explorer'.

I think I should try again.  How should I best delete it?

Thanks

You should ALWAYS delete from Settings..System..Remove Programs

Well, with my tail between my legs, I deleted it from settings and redownloaded to the PC also.  The alarm still makes no sound.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Michele
