Hello,

I have completely installed your latest version, following all your specific instructions in the Email that I recently received. I also thoroughly read your specific README file as well. I’m running the following H/W & S/W setup:

IPAQ 3900 – PPC 2002 – MDAC 2.8
Pocket Cook V7 Deluxe Web Edition – Full Version (haven’t donated yet)
Old Pocket Cook Version 5.1.155 on the PC (removed as you instructed from PDA, not from the PC)

Problem:

Following your very specific Email instructions, I removed V5 of Pocket Cook from my PDA. All my personal recipes were summarily deleted.

I completely installed your V7 on both my PC and PDA. I want to convert my recipes from the folder called “MyRecipes” in the V5 DB (this is where I kept them). It is a *.MDB file.I get the following error message trying to convert this V5 file to V7:

“Invalid V5 recipe database”

My V5 DB on the PC works fine, so my question is: Why can I not convert my V5 recipes to V7, as you have indicated? Did I miss something? I have re-installed your V7 on both the PDA and PC twice with no success, I don’t want to do it again.

Thank-you for your kind support and help

I had the same problem. What I did was export from v5 and then import to v7. Worked out good.

I also had the same problem, what I ended up doing was making a new DB and transfer the information to the new one. This then allowed me to upgrade to V7.
